Cederquist has advised BillerudKorsnäs

Cederquist has advised BillerudKorsnäs in relation to the sale of its paper machine located at the Korsnäs mill in Gävle, to SwedPaper. The divestment of the machine is a condition for the European Commission’s approval of the merger between Billerud and Korsnäs.

As part of the transaction, the parties have entered into long-term commercial agreements, whereby BillerudKorsnäs will, among other things, deliver input goods such as pulp, steam and water to SwedPaper.
