Dispute Resolution

Our dispute resolution practice group has extensive experience and deep expertise in the area.

We regularly represent parties in national and international arbitrations (both institutional and ad hoc), general courts, administrative courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Our experienced lawyers are frequently appointed as arbitrators.

We advise clients on dispute-related matters and represent parties in all types of commercial disputes, e.g. mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financial arrangements, construction contracts and consulting liability, professional, auditors' and directors' liability, insurance law, insolvency, intellectual property disputes and marketing. We represent Swedish and international businesses and authorities from different industries, e.g. banking and finance, real estate and construction, infrastructure, insurance and healthcare.

Extensive and complex disputes require an ability to quickly familiarise oneself with and understand complex facts, often of economic or technological nature. In addition to this ability, our qualitative, relevant and informed legal approach allows us to achieve optimal procedural management for our clients. We manage the whole chain of events in a dispute, from risk management and risk assessment of the client's legal position, claims, security, correspondence and negotiation, to national and international enforcement. This also includes, in consultation with the client to evaluate and negotiate amicable settlements.
