During the spring, Cederquist's EU and Competition Law team was selected, as national experts, to contribute with a chapter on the Swedish regulatory framework regarding dominance in Sweden, for the international legal publication Getting the Deal Through.

Cederquist has represented the financing bank in connection with the establishment by Nordika Fastigheter and Partners Group of a joint venture which has acquired a portfolio of real estate properties in Sweden and Finland, with an aggregate value of SEK 1,250,000,000.
The Competition Damages Act2 entered into force on 27 December 2016 in Sweden. The Act governs actions for damages for infringements of competition law provisions and implements the EU Damages Directive.3
Cederquist represented the financing bank in connection with the acquisition, through a newly established joint venture between Starwood Capital Group and Oscar Properties Holding AB (publ), of Primus 1 at Lilla Essingen in Stockholm with a total of 42,000 light BTA from Vasakronan, the purchase price amounting to SEK 920 millions.
