Cederquist advisor to BillerudKorsnäs in connection with acquisition of Verso

Cederquist is legal advisor to BillerudKorsnäs in connection with its acquisition of Verso, a U.S. corporation whose shares are listed on New York Stock Exchange. The purchase price amounts to USD 825 million. Verso is a leading American producer of graphic, specialty and packaging paper and market pulp. The acquisition and transformation of existing assets into paperboard machines will be financed through a combination of a rights issue of up to SEK 3.5 billion, additional debt and operating cash flow.
